Indian Government's 123 agreement with United States has generated a heated debate in India amongst politicians, media and general public. Many people are not aware of the background and the implications of the agreement.


In an exclusive podcast interview, Mr T S R Subramanian, Former Cabinet Secretary to Indian Government speaks about this agreement and the various issues involved.

Mr Subramanian held the highest position in Indian Government amongst the Administrative Service Officers. He has played a greater role in the economic liberalisation, infrastructure reforms like Telecom, Power, Surface Transport, etc.

On 15th Agusut 2007, we released the first part of the exclusive interview with Dr Abdul Kalam, former Indian President. We are happy to release the second part of the interview .

In this second part, Dr Kalam gives his Independence Day message to children. Though, it is meant for children, it is more applicable to school and college going students.
