Non-violence is used as a synonym for pacifism. Peace and Peaceful resistance are the two sides of the Non-violence just as Ethics and Self regulation are the two sides of Moral Values.<BR/><BR/>Mr Periaswamy must have been gifted with a big heart and influenced by Gandhism. His realisation of non-violence is benefiting 4000 children in 63 hamlets in two districts of coastal Tamil Nadu is not a small thing.
