Radio jockeying and Film production - skills needed

Sujatha, Radio Jockey, Radio MirchiPodUniversal Edition 67

Many of the youngsters want to become a good Radio Jockey (RJ) or to join the film production. There is a misnomer that any person who is a 'non stop talker' can become the RJ. In order to get the right information for the aspiring youth, on behalf of PodUniversal, I interviewed Ms Sujatha, a well known RJ of Radio Mirchi.

When the first FM station was launched in Chennai (probably in the entire South), in 2003, Sujatha was the first RJ to give her voice on air through FM. A print journalist turned broadcast journalist, has also made her mark in the film productions. She has worked with the popular actor Kamalahasan in few films. She is a multifaceted personality and she hosts the show in Radio Mirchi.

In a freewheeling conversation with me, Sujatha has explained the skills that are needed to become a good RJ. She has also offered to guide the aspiring youth to become a good RJ. Please listen to her interview by clicking 'play button'. (11 minutes)
